Workout Summary: Run 13+ (1:52)
Decided not to do the final banana belt race this morning. Had everything ready, race wheels on bike, etc...raining here when we woke up. Ann didnt feel like racing in the rain again and frankly I didnt either. We have both had back to back sunday's of hard long bike racing, then 11 mile brick each time. We both need the break.
Felt good on first hour of run today, but really started to tighten up the second hour. I suspect had I raced, I would have pulled out around 44 of the 66 miles or so. I needed this first nearly 2 hour run in anyway. In the scheme of things, the longer run was more important today.
We will race King's valley 55 mile bike race mid april. That will be another good bike race for us. Then the day after King's valley, is a 20 mile TT. We may use this as a brick and run 10-12 after.
Diet:Breakfast: 4 eggwhites with slice of swiss and 2 wheat english muffins. 16 oz carrot juice.
Lunch: coffee, 1 mini bagel with honey. Recovery drink after run.
Dinner: Over at Rob P's place, salmon and steak, salad and potatoe salad. Few handful's of Chips before. Water, 1 beer.
