Swim 3200

Pilates 20 minutes/ Swim 3200, 1 hour

Master swim: 200 free + 4 X 50 down drill, back free warm up.
Set 1: 4 X 100 on 1:40 cycle. Not bad, did 100's around 1:20-22 so had 15-20 seconds rest
8 X 50 on 40 second cycle, focusing on form.
30 sec rest
Set 2: 4 X 100 on 1:30 cycle. OK this was tough. Did these in 1:22-25, so 5-7 seconds rest
8 X 50 on 40 sec cycle.
30 sec rest
Set 3: 4 X 100 on 1:25 cycle. Imploded. First 2 in 1:20-21 on 5 sec rest. Third in 1:23, so single breath and took off. 4th 1:25, took 5 seconds. 5th in 1:30. Now I'm tired.
No 50's in third set.
1 min. rest.
Set 4: 10 X 50 kick. First 5 with fins, second 5 without. On 1:10 cycle so had 10 sec rest on each.
30 sec rest.
Set 5: 4 X 150/20 pull. Yeah, coach made these impossible too.
Progressive breath holding each 25 yd. So, Breath every 5th, 7th, 9th,9th, 7th, 5th for each 150.
I could handle up to 9th, then one series each way of 9 strokes per breath, then had to breath every other for a few strokes to the wall because I felt like I was about to pass out in the water.
The 5 and 7 stroke breathing was doable for me though, and felt ok at it. 128/100 yd pace on all these.
No cool down.

20 minutes of pilates abs and low back prior to swim.
