Just couldnt get up this morning. Only had a short 1200 swim and maybe light leg weights planned anyway. I woke up at 5:30 and realized quickly if I stayed in bed until 7 I would catch 8 hr sleep.
Call for the second time this week, 14 hr shift than covering all night on pager.
Iced 20 minutes followed by heat 20 minutes, then finishing with 10 min. ice while working today. Did this cycle 4 times. Achilles feeling better.
Diet:
Breakfast: cup of hot cider-vinegar water. 4 egg white scramble, 1 med. coffee with splash cream. No carbs.
Lunch: Baja fresh's bare burrito bowl. Black beans, rice, grilled chicken with tomatoes in a bowl. Diet Shasta.
Afternoon: 1 apple, hot chocolate with skim milk.
Dinner: Bowl of vegi minestrone soup, side of bruschetta..it was a sizable side though. About 6 ounces of bread with tomatoes and garlic. Bottle of water.
