So my plan for the remainder of the season, pretty simple.
U.S. National 1/2 IM age group championships in September
World 70.3 championships in November
IM Arizona 2008
Week 1: Weight 164 (2 lb weight loss since my 1 week post Roth 166)
am: 45 min yoga
pm: Swim: 2200K
800 warm up, combination of 200 drill/kick/free. Then 4 X 50 slide and glide drill.
6 X 200
First 100 moderate Z3, 10 sec rest
Next 50 Z4, 10 sec rest
Final 50 Z3, 20 sec rest then start next 200
200 pull and hand paddles cooldown.
Feeling better in the water
Diet:
Breakfast: cider-vinegar, then 1 apple. Coffee late morning.
Lunch: Salad with vegies, feta cheese, chicken breast, 1 apple, water
Afternoon: mint tea
Dinner: burrito chicken with rice and black beans.
2 beers before bed and 2 pieces of chocolate bar.
