Working on getting a web site up and running which will serve as a coaching platform for me.
I have been approached by several triathletes and well as marathon runners for coaching in both long tri events as well as marathons.
I figured a coaching platform off a web site will be helpful. I plan to have a forum for discussion linked to the site.
Most of the data on the site will require a log-in.
I decided on the name of tri-odyssey.com, with the name of my coaching service,
Odyssey Coaching.
My email will be coach@tri-odyssey.com
I think of tri-odyssey as the journey we all must make to achieve the goals we all establish. The journey we in preparing ourselves to get to that finish line. Everyone's is slightly different, but the overall goal of the odyssey is the same.
We'll see how this works out. Delivering information on a bulk basis rather repeating info to individuals over and over again will likely me much easier.
Running Hood to Coast relay, then the Portland Tri took a toll on my legs past 10 days or so.
I was on call yesterday so didnt workout with the exception of some pilates core and yoga before work.
Today I woke up and ran 4 miler, including a 560 ft climb up 400 stairs toward the end of the run. My legs felt sharp for the first time in over a week. Very happy with that.
