Workout Summary: Swim 2500 (49')/Elliptical/TM 30'

Swim: 500 pull wu 8:00
200 of balance drills, 1/2 w/ fins
5 X 100/30 1:14, 1:17, 1:20 final 3
500 in 8:20 alternated each 25 yd free and breast. This hurt a little
10 X 50 on 55 sec cycle. First 2 in 36, next 7 in 38, final in 37
300 pull cd, 4:45

20 minutes on Elliptical ave HR 133 (zone 2)
10 min on Treadmill at 8:30 pace, HR ave 136 (at 8:30 pace?? man I am out of shape)

I decided to slowly incorporate treadmill easy runs with elliptical. I have been on elliptical for 2 weeks now, working up to 30 minutes pain free. I will slowly phase out elliptical while phasing in easy running. We'll see. Hamstring tight after short run but not really painful.

Diet:
Breakfast: egg beaters omelet with veggies and feta cheese, potatoes, wheat toast, cranberry juice, coffee
Lunch: Salad and soup, iced tea, coffee
Dinner: Beef roast, brocolli, salad, mashed potatoes. glass of wine X 3
