Workout Summary: Bike 52 miles (3000 ft ascent/ 3 hours)
Rode with Veloce team. Good long hills and about 10 miles of pace line averaging close to 25 mph.
Legs dead about 35 miles into the ride. Managed to hang on, good thing these CAT II guys were on an easy recovery day.
HR ave: 123/max 148
Worked an hour on a short Power Point presentation for our tri team at the meeting tomorrow night.
Diet:
Breakfast, before ride: 1 cup oatmeal, med. Americano coffee
During ride: 30 oz nutrition bottle and 30 oz water bottle
After ride: 75 g Carb + 25 g protein recovery
Afternoon: Couple of handfulls of organic chips and about 6 oz mixed fruit, glass of orange juice.
Dinner: Baja Fresh Burrito bowl with chicken and black beans, tortilla soup with chicken. 2 beers.
Evening: 1/2 bag low fat popcorn while watching movie, 2 beers over about 3 hours, 1 reeses peanut butter bar (14 g fat)
