Workout Summary: Run 6 (41:30)
6:30 am, 6 miles on TM total 41:30 (6:55 pace)
First mile in 7:40, second in 6:50 (HR ave 126, Z1 max 135, Z2)Then 20 minutes at 6:30 pace. HR crept up to top of zone 1 in final 4 minutes but was able to stay out of zone 5. (HR ave 142, top of Z3 and max of 149 (final beat of zone 4)
cool down at 7:30 pace, HR ave 136, top of Z2
Legs tight and tired first mile, a bit better second and once I got rolling in high Z3 at 6:30 pace, they seemed to loosen up.
Diet:
Breakfast: apple-vinegar tea, hot oats w/ bwn sugar and tbs flax, 16 oz skim milk.
