1.5 warm up and cd
12 X 400 alternating pace.
1:30 then 1:40 for first 6
1:25 then 1:40 second 6, picked it up a bit to stride out straight on 11th "fast" 400 at 1:18
Total time for 3 mile run, 18:28 (6:10 ave paee)
Felt fine. Legs a little bit fatigued but the alternating 400's loosened them up.
HR varied on the fast 400's in low zone 5 to low zone 4 on the slower 400's.
Sauna after, 12 minutes at 170 degrees. Drank 24 oz water in sauna.
Diet:
Breakfast: 1 bagel, 4 egg white omelet with vegies only, no cheese. small coffee.
Lunch: 6 oz salmon grilled and rice
Afternnon: caffeine free mint tea X 2 and cliff protein bar
Dinner: chix thai with rice, mixed vegies, light oil. Water, diet shasta, 1 beer.
