Managed to squeeze in a short swim before my 14 hour shift today.
1400 yd, 24 minutes
500 pull wu, 7:30
4 X 100/30
First 3 in 2:21, 4th in 1:19
500 cd pull with hand paddles.
Sauna: 15 minutes, 170 degees. Drank 24 oz water.
Man, I just dont feel good in the water lately. Last summer, I could knock off 100 yd intervals in 1:12-1:16 without maxing out. I pushed very hard today and only hovering around 1:20
I know it's a technical flaw but I just cant seem to find that "groove" I had last summer.
Hope it comes back. If not, it's not the end of the world. I'll take a 33 this weekend and a 1:05 at Roth.
Diet:
Breakfast: 1 cup oats + tbs flax and 6 oz vanilla yogurt mixed in. Water.
Small coffee 1/2 decaf.
Lunch: Vegi spinach wrap. Mixed vegies, dijon mustard. 2 oz bag of sea salt chips and 12 oz tomato juice.
Afternoon: Med non fat chai tea. 3 mini peppermint patties (1 g fat each)
Dinner: 12 oz mushroom ravioli with greens and onions, marinara sauce. Touch of parm. cheese on top. 2 small dinner rolls. Salad.
Before bed: 1.5 cups of lucky charms cereal. More carbs!
