Morning Swim

Got in a swim this morning before my 7a-9p shift today and call tonight.

6 am: 2700 meter (50 minutes)
500 pull wu + 100 kick
10 X 200/20, descending every pair as goal
1-2 = 3:13
3-4 = 3:10
5-6 = 3:08
7-8 = 3:06/05
9 = 3:05
10 = 2:56
100 kick cd

So, this is the first time I have swam under 3 minutes for a 200 in a meter pool.
I did a swim in the same pool early may, 6 X 200, in 3:24/22/20/12/09/06
So, I think I have found the small breakthrough I was looking for. Let's make this last for a couple of weeks and I think I will shatter my PR IM swim of 1:06

Diet:
Breakfast: cup cider-vinegar tea. Then 3 egg white omelet with vegies, coffee 1/2 decaf
Lunch: Spinach leaf salad with veggies, some turkey pieces, and 2 yolkless hard boiled eggs. Low fat italian dressing. 2 oz bag of pretzels, and diet sierra mist.
Afternoon: Medium hot chocolate
Dinner: Spinach leaf salad again with 4 oz grilled salmon and vinegrette dressing. 2 oz bag pretzels. Water.
Before bed: 2 cups raisin bran cereal with skim milk.
