Well, 3 weeks out from Clearwater 70.3 and I have a good week coming up.
Plan for week of Oct 22-28:
Swim 15K (4 sessions)
Bike 240 miles (5 rides)
Run 42 miles (5 runs)
Some key workouts will be:
Tuesday: 45 mile ride power Z2 with 45 min Z4 TT at rpm 65. Start not determined. Run 7 at Fairmont, 5:45 start.
Wed: Fairmont loop 5:45 pm. 7 mile run HR Z2 with 4 X 5 min Z4 intervals on 2 min Z1 rest between each
Fri: 60 mile ride power Z2 with 50 min Z4 TT at rpm 65-75. Thurman gate 9 am, out to Sauvie Island after riding skyline hills.
Sat: 70 mile ride over 4 hours on hills, and 6 mile run with 4 X 4 min HR Z4 intervals on 1 in Z1 rest between each. May repeat ride out to Estacada like before but reverse direction. 9 am start.
Sun: 18 mile run holding HR Z2. Forest Park, thurman gate, start 9 am.
