Run Hills

Workout Summary: Run 9 (1:17)

Ran 40 min, 5 mile wu/16 min 2 mile cd

8 X 75 second uphill repeats, = rest back down
Not very strong, but nice to do some more intense, although short, running.

Zone Summary (interval session only, 21 minutes) Each hill 100 feet, took 1:14-1:22 to top
1 = 40 % (8' 30")
2 = 10% (2')
3 = 8% (1' 40")
4 = 10% (2')
5a = 10% (2') (at threshold)
5b = 18% (3' 45")
5c = 4% (50")

Hamstring no worse, only tight when stretching.

Diet:
Breakfast: med coffee, 1 oz box dry bran flakes
Lunch: 1.5 cups chicken chili and 2 oz bag pretzels, water
Afternoon: 4 small snack-well low fat vanilla cookies, med coffee 1/2 decaf
Dinner: KFC single chicken breast meal, mashed potatoes, green beans, cole slaw, roll.
Kit kat bar for desert.
